Frederick E. Bryan III (Rick) - Chairman
Rick joined the company in 1965 as one of five Sales Representatives covering the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana territory for McCulloch. Rick is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and served in the US Army reserves from 1959-65. After graduation, Rick joined Armco Steel in their sales division and later transferred to the Armco Indianapolis office where he was responsible for bulk steel sales to major corporate clients. Rick is an outdoorsman and mentor to all of the team at Bryan Equipment Sales. Additionally, his enthusiasm and sense of humor are a part of what makes Bryan Equipment a team.

J. Thomas Jones (Tom) - Chairman
Tom joined Bryan in 1984. Since his hire, Tom's team has revolutionized the way Bryan goes to market by utilizing "store within a store" merchandising techniques therefore differentiating STIHL products in the cluttered retail environment. Additionally, Tom and his group have developed and patented new products as well as acquired other business for sustaining growth.
Tom has spoken widely on the topic of "Business Entropy" , why all businesses eventually go out of business; he is an active member on several business and civic boards. Tom is an inventor and patent holder on products developed utilizing "disruptive innovation". A Cincinnati native and Graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in business, Tom and his wife Linda have been married for over 30 years. Tom's interests include horses, boating, hunting and unfortunately, golf.

Frederick E. Bryan IV (Rick) - President
Rick is the oldest son and grandson of Rick III and Bud Bryan, respectively and represents the third generation in the company started by Rick's grandfather in 1948. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Economics. Rick joined Bryan Equipment in 1993 as an Applications Specialist and has also served as Bryan's Technical, Sales and General Manager. An accomplished instructor and speaker, Rick was voted "Trainer of the Year" in 1996 by the The Ohio Forestry Association. In 1997, he received the National Private Industry Trainer of the Year award from the American Pulpwood Association. He is an avid outdoorsman, hunter and a pilot.

Scott Walker- Vice President and General Manager
Growing up in our industry, Scott got his start by working in the family hardware store, a STIHL dealer, in Dickson , Tennessee . He returned to the business after receiving his undergraduate business degree in Marketing from Austin Peay State University. While working toward his MBA at the University of Tennessee , Scott completed an internship with STIHL Incorporated, and reported to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He joined the Bryan team in 1994 as a territory manager covering the central and western Tennessee territory. Scott moved to Cincinnati in 2001 and has held various roles including Project Manager and most recently as VP of Sales and Marketing. He completed his MBA at Xavier University in 2005. Scott is an Eagle Scout actively involved as a scout leader, an outdoorsman, hunter and STIHL enthusiast.

Thomas Mattei (Tom) - Vice President of Operations
Tom received his undergraduate degree from Thomas Moore College and his MBA in Marketing from Xavier University. Tom is also a CPA. After college, Tom joined Lunkenhimer, an industrial valve manufacturer as a Financial Analyst with multi-plant responsibilities. Tom has been with Bryan Equipment since 1985 when he started as Controller and has moved up steadily to his current position of Vice President of
Operations. Tom is actively involved with his community where he has served as Coach and School Athletic Director.

Lisa Taylor - Accounting and Human Resource Manager / Corporate Secretary
Lisa is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Accounting. After college, she worked in Cleveland for two years in the construction industry before relocating to the Cincinnati area. Lisa has been with Bryan Equipment since 1988 starting as a general accountant and currently holds the position of Accounting/Human Resource Manager and also Corporate Secretary. After hours activities include attending sporting events, exercising and vacationing. |
